🍎 OTHER NECESSARY INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 chopped apples
  • 2 chopped quinces (if you have them; otherwise, just apples)
  • ½ cup chopped pineapple
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet potato flour or cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of soursop or vanilla essence (optional)

👨🍳 STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION:

Step 1: Prepare the syrup

Boil the water with the panela, cinnamon and cloves until completely dissolved.

Step 2: Add the fruit

Add all the chopped fruit and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat until soft.

Step 3: Prepare the thickener

Dissolve the sweet potato flour or cornstarch in a little cold water.

Step 4: Thicken the drink

Add it to the pot to thicken the drink. Stir constantly.

Step 5: Cook

Cook for 3 more minutes, stirring constantly, then turn off the heat.

Step 6: Aromatize

Add soursop or vanilla essence at the end if desired.

Step 7: Serve

Serve warm in large cups with fruit. It's best enjoyed warm, perfect for winter!
