 Basic preparation :
 1. Wash the peas and check that they have no impurities. 
2. Soak for 2 - 3 hours ( optional , reduces cooking time )
 3. Cook in salted water for approximately 45 - 60 minutes
 4. Season to taste with spices and herbs
 
Store in a cool, dry place , away from moisture .
